Candle Care + Safety

In order to achieve a safe and optimal burn experience, please follow First Burn Candle Co's  care + safety instructions (we promise, you'll notice a huge difference when you keep your wick(s) trimmed before lighting!). 

+ keep wick centered & TRIM 1/4" before lighting to ensure optimal burn

+coconut-soy wax has 'memory', therefore, your first burn should last around 2-3hours, allowing the wax to melt evenly to the edges of the vessel. this prevents tunneling during future burns and maximizes usage.

+rule of thumb: burn one hour for each inch in diameter of the vessel, not to exceed 4 hrs at a time. 

+ Always follow safety instructions carefully:

DO NOT leave unattended, do not use around children and pets, avoid drafty/high vibration areas, place candle on a leveled, fire-resistant surface away from flammable items. Stop candle use once 1/2" wax remains (never allow candle to self-extinguish/ "burn itself out"). FBC Co. is not responsible for loss/damage due to misuse. 

+to maximize candle life, store in a cool, dry, dark place.
